Went back and forth between 3 and 4 star, so I'd say a 3.5 overall. The sushi was pretty good, nothing special about it. None of the flavors popped out at me. But on the other hand nothing was bad, just your average sushi. I ordered the Baja California roll and the Aloha rolls so that's all I have to go off. Looking around a lot of people were ordering the bento boxes and they looked good with good sized portions.
This definitely isn't your normal sit down and enjoy some sushi type of place. It's more on the "fast food" side of sushi. If you're craving sushi and need your fix fast, this is the place for you. If you're wanting a sit down and have a nice meal I would try someone else.
All in all I would come back here to get some sushi if I needed a quick fix. -

Close to work, I stop by Mitaki at least once a month to grab their 3-item bento special; which is always fresh, quick and a good value.
Staff is always pleasant and efficient in getting the line cut down: although, I try never to go during peak lunch rush, so I can make sure that I can eat inside -

Got the Happy Box for lunch (chicken teriyaki/rice/miso soup/salad/baked salmon roll). Tasted very fresh and filling!

This is one of my favorite spots to grab a quick bite for lunch. You can get a nice bowl packed with rice, broccoli, cabbage chicken, beef or both for under $10.00. Oh and it comes with two little sushi rolls. all this for under $10.00? Come on now, you can't beat that.
They have sushi, soups, bowls and other items on the menu as well. I must warn you this place does get packed during the lunch rush hour. If you go during that time, you will wait anywhere from 7 to 15 minutes.
One thing that I must say is that it is a nice place to get away from the office and just chill. Especially during this cold rainy weather, its just a nice escape from the office. Its small, but it has outdoor seating and its next to other food places who share the outdoor seating section; you'll have somewhere to sit. There seating for two and there's a section where i'd say 6-8 people can sit. -

Really excellent, fast sushi on a budget. It shows because this location is always jammed at lunch and a line out to the door! So with that said, call ahead and save some time during your precious lunch hour!
My go-to is the "Choose two" House special for $9.49 which includes a small salad, white rice, miso soup OR soda (I go for miso) and two items of choice. I've had the chicken teriyaki which is pretty good but SO filling! So for afternoon comfort, I now go for two, five-piece sushi rolls. The salmon rolls are good and the avocado rolls are plump and savory! Definitely worth their weight and I crave them the most!
I usually bring back to my office. There IS seating but it's hit and miss being a small place so I can't always plan for that. Also as of last week, the one, gender neutral bathroom was not working so points off for that too.
Looking forward to trying more!
